Jalan Alor! Here I cometh!



I went back home to Kuala Lumpur for a few days and the first place I made my sister take me was Jalan Alor!!!! And I had one of the best meals ever!! The main meal that I have been waiting months to have was the chicken fish. And it was simply divine!! it was cooked to perfection, flesh was moist and firm, hence the they it chicken fish :-)
And the rest was the other dishes that I have missed while I have been away. I wish I could have taken more and better photos. But unfortunately, I was too busy stuffing my face and ordering food that I simply forgotten!
We had noodles, rice, fried Lobak (whatever that is....delicious!) fruit rojak....umph! vegetables, clams and we washed it down with a few bottles of tiger Beer..Pheuh! that was sublime...I was in heaven. Thank goodness I am going again soon. Cant wait to experience Jalan Alor again....I will take proper pictures next time. I promise :-)

Boigers!! (burgers...duh!)

Hmmmmm.......boigers!!! :-)


Making burgers is fun,fun,fun! and easy peasy too. I have many different marinades for my burgers. Today, I will present the same recipe i used to make boigers for my bf's band mates for their rehearsals last night (yes...he is in a band and i am a groupie! and loving it :-)


I dont normally use the right measurements when i cook. I just use my instinct. You will be able to do that once you have been cooking for a while. Just needs practice. 


I hope you guys will enjoy making the Boigers as much as I did and I bet anyone that tries them will love it even more.


Mince meat                    
Garlic - chopped
Onion - chopped
Mustard powder
Black pepper
Dried oregano
Dried basil
Salt
Egg
Bread crumbs
Worchesthire sauce


Combine the ingredients above and put it in the fridge and take out 15 mins before you cook  em'


The rest as you know is the usual ingredients like
Burger buns
Tomatoes
Onions
Rocket leaves (which i like to use instead of normal lettuce, make it a tad fancier)
Ketchup
Mayo
Mustard

Nicoise Salad!!


Who doesn't like Nicoise Salad? Seriously the best and fulfilling salad ever invented. I am sure some of you out there agree with me. I like to make my Nicoise as a main meal. The ingredient that makes Nicoise even better is fresh TUNA!!!!!! cooked to perfection by searing the fish on both sides for a 2-3 mins (depending on the size of the tuna) and what you get from that is a delicious, mouth watering, nutritious meal.
